Amanda Swift, BCBA

I grew up in New Jersey, moved to California for a few years, and now own a home in Texas. I started my ABA journey in a preschool classroom 10 years ago where I met some of the wonderful TUCCi team. They introduced me to the Competent Learner Model curriculum and I was hooked!

In 2013 I began working with TUCCi full-time at the end of that school year. I started as a behavior interventionist and studied to become a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) in 2015, then a Certified Coach in 2019, and finally a Certified Coordinator in 2021.

I am passionate about helping all learners become competent through the use of the Competent Learner Model tools. I truly believe that the repertoires we teach are the building blocks to being a successful learner in all environments.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, and gardening.
